A. Of course this depends on the area being treated. Typically a small area such as the lip or chin will take about 15 minutes and a larger area such as the back will last approximately 30 minutes.

A. We ask that you shave the area to be treated 1-3 days before your appointment so that the hair is just visible. By doing this we will be able to target the area you desire to be treated.

A. The LASER works by targeting hair follicles, therefore, you cannot remove the hair by plucking, tweezing, waxing, or using electrolysis during your treatment sessions. You may shave any of the areas between your treatments as this does not remove the hair follicle.

A. Apply a moisturizer such as aloe vera to soothe the skin for a few days. 2 - 3 weeks after your treatment you will notice shedding of all treated areas. To remove this hair we recommend that you scrub the area in the shower with a loofa. You may also notice what is referred to as “pepperspots”, little black dots that appear to be stuck in the skin. These will eventually fall out.

A. LASER hair removal is incredibly safe, however, as with any medical procedure, there are risks. Occasionally a client will experience redness or swelling at the treated area. This usually subsides in 1 or 2 days. There have also been reports of skin burns, blistering, and changes in skin tone (lighter or darker).
